The Cruelness of Admission War

“The Cruelness of Admission War” To get admission in our dream universities, we all need to take an entrance exam in different universities. But the seats are limited due to number of students. Therefore admission   turns into a battle zone of minds.   In our education system, when a student completes his or her H.S.C examination they need to attend entrance exam of different universities. They get 2-3 months to take preparations .At first , they do great in daily exams and weekly exams. But as the time goes by , it gets harder. They start to get depress over their process. They in dilemma, whether they should continue or not. Some starts to take preparation for foreign universities and some other starts to take preparation for private universities. In public universities of Bangladesh, students need certain numbers or grades to attend the entrance exam. But everyone is not privileged by this system. This leads to a bad consequence in courage and self-confidence of ...

Unleashing Bangladesh's Potential: Embracing the 4th Industrial Revolution

In the wake of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, Bangladesh stands on the brink of a transformative journey into a future defined by technological advancements. While obstacles in adaptation, fear of change and lack of expertise persist, Bangladesh's potential lies in its youth, widespread accessibility of mobile phones and internet, and the increasing interest in Information and Communication Technology (ICT). This is my take on the concepts of the 4th Industrial Revolution and the obstacles faced by Bangladesh in this journey. During the First Industrial Revolution, production was mechanised using steam and water power. The Second employed electricity to mass produce goods. To automate production, the Third utilised electronics and computer technologies. The Fourth Industrial Revolution is now building upon the Third, the digital revolution that has been taking place since the mid-twentieth century. It is distinguished by a merge of technologies that blurs the distinctions betw...

The Evolution of Art

Image
Art has evolved a lot over time across the globe. At present, we can see that art has become very common to be done and consumed in digital form. If we look at the history, we can clearly see that art has come a long way.  'Art' is a term defined as the expression or application of human creative skill and imagination, typically in a visual form such as painting or sculpture, producing works to be appreciated primarily for their beauty or emotional power. There are various branches of art. These branches have evolved with time as well. There are many ancient forms of art that do not exist today. The remainings gives us a insight of those art forms which helps us to acknowledge how much art has evolved. 'Petroglyphs' is a term used for rock carvings made by pecking directly on the rock surface using a stone chisel and a hammerstone during ancient times. It is a form of art that humans once used to express their thoughts. Aside from this, there is cave art that existed...

Embracing an Art of Discipline

Embracing the Art of Discipline I b elieve that discipline is more than just a word; it is a way of life that lays the foundation for personal growth and character development. My friend and I often embark on daily conversations that revolve around the essence of discipline, and we have come to realize that it goes beyond a mere set of rules. Instead, discipline is like a compass that guides us towards humility, honesty, faithfulness, and a life of purpose. It is an art that requires dedication, persistence, mindfulness, and good conduct which obviously means that when a character is lost everything is lost. I was born into a family that is dedicated to God. At the age of ten, while I was in grade five, I began acting improperly, which irritated my parents. My nearby friends, some of whom were my age and others who were older than me, were responsible for my altering attitude. I started coming home late from school, walking outside without permission, and saying nasty things that I o...
